Parking and Transportation Modified Operations for Concert

Georgia Tech will host a concert at Bobby Dodd Stadium at Hyundai Field on Friday, Oct. 3, 2025. Please view this page for modified operations for parking and transit on campus. 

PARKING IMPACT TO CAMPUS

CLOSED PARKING AREAS

The following parking areas will be closed to permit holders to accomodate concert parking beginning at the following times and dates:

Wednesday, Oct. 1 at 10 p.m.

  • E48: Wardlaw Center

 

Thursday, Oct. 2 at 10 p.m. 

  • ER51: Fowler St., Brittain Dr., and Techwood Dr.
  • ER55: Fowler St.

 

Friday, Oct. 3 at noon

  • E45: Tech Tower Lot
  • E46: Burge Deck
  • E49: Alumni Lot
  • E52: Peters Deck
  • Area 1: North Avenue

 

Alternative parking will be available to permit holders at the following locations beginning Thursday, Oct. 2 at 5 p.m.

Permit holders will be notified via email with more information and directions on move vehicle times and locations.

PERMIT HOLDER AND EVENT PARKING

The following parking areas will be used for event parking but permit holders will not be required to move their vehicle: 

  • E81: Tech Square Deck
  • E40: Klaus Deck
  • E65: McCamish Pavilion
  • W02: Student Center Deck
  • W06: Tech Parkway (Overflow Parking)
  • W10: Campus Recreation (CRC) Deck
  • W22: Dalney Deck
  • W23: North Deck
  • Stamps Health Center Lot

MODIFIED TRANSPORTATION OPERATIONS

STINGER SHUTTLE SERVICE

Due to road closures on campus, several Stinger shuttle routes will be modified from Oct. 1 – 3.

Please view each route drop down for updates to routes, potential detours, and closures.

Impacted Routes: 

GOLD ROUTE

Starting at 5:15 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 1, Gold Route buses will start at the turnaround parallel to the Weber building and service stops along Ferst Dr. and 5th St. ending at the Midtown MARTA Station. It will depart the MARTA Station and return to campus via Spring St. servicing stops along 5th St. and Ferst Dr. back to the Weber building turnaround. This route will operate through Friday, Oct. 3. 

BLUE ROUTE 

At 7 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 1, the Red Route will detour via Luckie St. and Pine St., to service North Avenue Apartments. Detour will operate through Friday, Oct. 3.

RED ROUTE

At 7 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 1, the Red Route will service east campus along Ferst to 5th & Techwood Dr., and detour via Techwood, 6th St. And Fowler to return to west campus. There will be no service to North Avenue Apartements via the Red route. Detour will operate through Friday, Oct. 3

CIRCULATOR ROUTE

The Circulator Route will not service campus from Wednesday, Oct. 1 – Friday, Oct. 3.

BLUE ROUTE

Due to road closures, the Blue Route will run a modified route from Oct. 1 – 3.

RED ROUTE

Due to road closures, the Red Route will run a modified route from Oct. 1 – 3.

STINGERETTE - NIGHTTIME SAFETY SERVICE

Due to road closures, the Stingerette will not be able to service Techwood Drive or the Clough turnaround. Please expect delays related to heavy traffic and road closures.
